- Description
The project consists of implementing an electronic prototype capable of alerting potential convulsive epileptic seizures through hardware and software components that work together with a mobile application based on the Android operating system. The prototype was developed with the goal of improving the quality of life of the patients that suffer from seizure disorders through the measuring of data received by the device. The device is able to determine if the patient suffers a possible seizure attack through the data collected by an accelerometer, which are then calculated and processed in a micro-controller that will transmit an alert to the cellphone wirelessly using Bluetooth technology.
