This research theme is the Impact of the actors in the Yasuní ITT Initiative, it is performed in order to determine what were the reasons why the Initiative was canceled and who were the actors involved in the Initiative and what their impact. The proposed theoretical approach that was used for its development and understanding; it analyzes it from the perspective of public policy analysis; where it is also necessary to talk about the neo institutional theory, actors and their logic, and the rational choice theory; as having clear these concepts and what they imply they can be applied to the case study, which in this research is the Yasuní ITT Initiative. That is, this research is analyzed as a chain of factors; where, you start with a public policy that is the Yasuní ITT Initiative, in which we want to know who the actors involved in the Initiative and what their influence; neo institutional theory is explored, because this theory studies the most fundamental role of institutions and in turn; the actors and the rational choice theory are analyzed because the actors are who build institutions and through this theory can understand why decisions. Thus, as we reach the actors that are the basis of this research study.
Esta investigación tiene como tema la Incidencia de los Actores en la Iniciativa Yasuní ITT, se la realiza con el objetivo de determinar cuáles fueron las causas por las que la Iniciativa se canceló y quiénes fueron los actores que participaron en la Iniciativa y cuál fue su incidencia. El enfoque teórico propuesto que se utilizó para su desarrollo y entendimiento, se lo analiza desde la perspectiva del análisis de políticas públicas, en donde también es necesario hablar sobre la teoría del neo institucionalismo, los actores y su lógica, y la teoría de elección racional; ya que teniendo claro estos conceptos y lo que implican se los puede aplicar al análisis de caso, que en esta investigación es la Iniciativa Yasuní ITT. Es decir, esta investigación se la analiza como una cadena de factores; en donde, se empieza con una política pública que es la Iniciativa Yasuní ITT, en la cual se quiere conocer quiénes son los actores que participaron en la Iniciativa y cuál fue su influencia; se explora la teoría neo institucional, porque esta teoría estudia el papel más fundamental de las instituciones y a su vez; se analiza los actores y la teoría de elección racional porque son los actores quienes construyen instituciones y a través de esta teoría se puede comprender el porqué de sus decisiones. Es así, como se llega a los actores que son la base del estudio de esta investigación.
