The objective of this business plan is to determine the commercial and financial viability of the implantation of a bakery with home delivery service in the Cumbayá Valley. ArtePan belongs to the food and drinks industry, which have presented a sustained average growth of 9,1% since the year 2001. In the city of Quito, this industry has 1.500 bakeries and in the Cumbayá Valley 72. Nevertheless, in spite of being highly fragmented, the entrance to this industry is very attractive since none of the bakeries offers daily delivery service. The market investigation was made through interviews to experts, a focus group, and surveys; which helped to identify the objective market, made up of resident families of the Cumbayá Valley with incomes higher than USD$10.000,00 a month...
El objetivo de este plan de negocios es determinar la viabilidad comercial y rentabilidad financiera de la implantación de una panadería a domicilio en el Valle de Cumbayá. ArtePan se encuentra en la industria de alimentos y bebidas, la cual ha presentado un crecimiento sostenido promedio de 9,1% desde el año 2001 hasta la actualidad. En el Cantón Quito, esta industria está conformada por 1.500 panaderías, y en Cumbayá por 72. Sin embargo, a pesar de ser altamente fragmentada, el ingreso a la misma es atractivo ya que ninguna de ellas ofrece servicio diario a domicilio.
