La siguiente investigación contiene herramientas y elementos que se han utilizado para desarrollar la aplicación web “VIVIR EN MI TIERRA”, se detalla el análisis de las necesidades que tienen las escuelas de la Parroquia Salinas en la distribución de los libros a los alumnos. Con la utilización de técnicas de recolección de datos, entrevista, observación directa y la encuesta se pudo obtener la información necesaria para determinar los requerimientos del sistema, con los que se llegó a establecer las funciones que serán utilizadas por los usuarios; para la etapa de análisis y diseño se utilizó la metodología estructurada y el modelo RAD (Desarrollo Rápido de Aplicaciones) y en la fase de implementación se utilizó la Programación Extrema ya que facilita el trabajo en equipo que fue nuestro caso. Para el desarrollo de la aplicación web multimedia del libro VIVIR EN MI TIERRA se utilizó herramientas Open Source (linux): Sistema Operativo Ubuntu, lenguajes: PHP, JavaScript, HTML; Gestor de base de datos MySQL, manejador de base de datos Appserv, los que permitieron el desarrollo y manejo de la información. Con la implementación de la aplicación Web “VIVIR EN MI TERRA” se reducen totalmente los gastos por parte de los directivos del GRUPPO SALINAS en la distribución de los libros a las escuelas de la parroquia Salinas.
