This research work focuses on the problem of research is the impact that the hotel sector produces on socioeconomic development in the canton Echeandía, a subject that has not been investigated despite the fact that the hotel sector is one of the activities promoted by the economic revitalization in the canton. It is raised as a goal. Determine the impact that the hotel sector produces on socio-economic development in the canton Echeandía, province of Bolívar. As a theoretical basis to reach the objectives and raise the result was considered information on the hotel sector; its origin, the services it provides, classification. The methods used were of a mixed nature because the information collected was used, analyzed and presented in a tabulated and graphed way. It was field to be performed in each of the hotels in the canton. The population was made up of the owners of the hotel establishments and 4 people for each hotel, to whom the survey was applied. The conclusions show that hotels do contribute to the socio-economic development in the canton by generating jobs. As a recommendation, they should improve the presentation and hygiene aspect, technological services and customer service.
El presente trabajo de investigación se enfoca en el problema de investigación es el impacto que el sector hotelero produce en el desarrollo socioeconómico en el cantón Echeandía, un tema que no ha sido investigado a pesar de ser el sector hotelero una de las actividades que promueve la dinamización económica en el cantón. Se plantea como objetivo. Determinar el impacto que el sector hotelero produce en el desarrollo socio económico en el cantón Echeandía, provincia de Bolívar. Como fundamento teórico para alcanzar los objetivos y plantear el resultado se consideró información sobre el sector hotelero; su origen, los servicios que presta, clasificación. Los métodos, empleados fue de carácter mixto porque se empleó la información recabada, se analizó y presentó también de forma tabulada y graficada. Fue de campo por realizarse en cada uno de los hoteles del cantón. La población estuvo conformada por 10 propietarios de los establecimientos hoteleros y 4 personas alojadas por cada hotel, que fue un total de 40 huéspedes; a quienes se aplicó la encuesta. De las conclusiones se desprende que los hoteles si contribuyen al desarrollo socioeconómico en el cantón al generar sobre todo plazas de empleo. Como recomendación deberían mejorar el aspecto de presentación e higiene, los servicios tecnológicos y la atención al cliente.
