La presente investigación titulada: “LAS PATOLOGÍAS BUCALES DE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS PRE-ESCOLARES EN LOS CENTROS INFNATILES DE LAS COMUNIDADES CAMPESINAS DEL CANTÓN CAYAMBE, PROVINCIA DE PICHINCHA EN EL PERIODO SEPTIEMBRE DEL 2013 A ENERO DEL 2014” identifica la problemática que se sintetiza que en el medio rural la salud bucal es todavía un problema porque no se ha educado sobre reglas de higiene y buena alimentación para mantener la salud oral por lo que el trabajo va a guiar para obtener soluciones durables y con la participación de la comunidad y la cooperación e integración multisectorial. De ahí que se plantea como objetivo general el establecimiento de los factores de riesgo que indican las patologías bucales en la población de estudio. Se plantea la hipótesis de trabajo que versa en que con el establecimiento de las principales patologías bucales se mejora la salud bucal de los niños y niñas sujetos de investigación. Se presenta un capítulo I en donde se pone de manifiesto los principales aportes teóricos del tema investigativo, un capítulo II de las estrategias metodológicas, un capítulo III en donde se describe los análisis e interpretación de resultados y un capítulo IV la propuesta del programa de educación de hábitos de higiene y buena nutrición a los niños, sus familias y la comunidad.

A chapter where I highlights the main contributions presented theorists research topic, chapter II of methodological strategies, chapter III where the analysis and interpretation of results are described and chapter IV of the proposed program of hygiene education and good nutrition to children, their families and the community.
