X. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This work Graduation, " PLAN OF MANAGEMENT AND PORTFOLIO RECOVERY DUE TO THE COOPERATIVE SAVINGS AND CREDIT QUINSALOMA METROPOLIS OF CANTON, PROVINCE RIVERS, YEAR 2012", is of much importance, because it aims to solve one of the problems that cross with frequently the credit unions, because even if it is not resolved in time can lead to a financial institution liquidity problem could even lead to the closure of the institution. The scope of the research was based on the problem: How the Management Plan for Savings and Credit Cooperative Ltd. Metrópolis, affects the recovery of overdue ? The problem described was elucidated by applying both the manager interviews as chief credit to those who ratified enunciated by the majority of members in the surveys that were prepared and erected to the effect , it was found that the main cause of late payment in Metropolis is the cooperative 's limited portfolio analysis conducted that regulate and guide the actions and procedures of the executives at the time to implement , approve and deliver the credits to members. The problem encountered is the fact no plans for loan recovery and plans to increase deposits, is there are no strategies that strengthen the liquidity and solvency of the cooperative hypothesis so demonstrated "the implementation of a management plan will improve recovery of non-performing loans of credit union Metropolis Ltd., of Canton Quinsaloma , Los Rios province , in 2012. " The research methods used in the study were the Inductive, Deductive and Comparative: Types were the Bibliographic Research , Field Research , Transverse , and techniques were also used for data collection : Observation , Interview and Survey . Finally as a result of the investigation in Chapter III was raised a proposal that aims to improve operational the following: 1. Reduce total NPLs by 25 % in six months’ time. 2. Increase deposits by 5 % within six months. 3. Adapt new methodology to simplify credit operations. 4. Design a management plan for the recovery of loans. This proposal explains in detail each of the plans for the COAC Metropolis Ltd.
El presente Trabajo de Graduación, “PLAN DE GESTIÓN Y RECUPERACIÓN DE CARTERA VENCIDA DE LA COOPERATIVA DE AHORRO Y CRÉDITO METRÓPOLIS DEL CANTÓN QUINSALOMA, PROVINCIA LOS RÍOS, AÑO 2012”, reviste de mucha importancia, porque pretende solucionar uno de los problemas que atraviesan con cierta frecuencia las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito, razón que incluso si no es solucionada a tiempo puede conducir a la institución financiera a un problema de liquidez que podría llevar incluso al cierre de la institución. El alcance de la investigación se basó sobre el problema planteado: ¿De qué manera el Plan de Gestión para cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Metrópolis Ltda., incide en la recuperación de la cartera vencida? El problema descrito se dilucidó mediante la aplicación de entrevistas tanto al Gerente como al jefe de crédito quienes ratificaron lo enunciado por la mayoría de socios en las encuestas que fueron preparadas y levantadas para el efecto, pues se encontró que la principal causa de la morosidad en la cooperativa Metrópolis es la el limitado análisis de cartera realizada que normen y guíen el accionar y procedimientos de los ejecutivos en el momento de instrumentar, aprobar y entregar los créditos a los socios. Al problema encontrado es el hecho de carecer de planes para recuperación de cartera y planes para incremento de las captaciones, es decir no existen estrategias que fortalezcan la liquidez y solvencia de la cooperativa; comprobándose la hipótesis planteada “la aplicación de un plan de gestión mejorará la recuperación de la cartera vencida de la cooperativa de ahorro y crédito Metrópolis Ltda., del cantón Quinsaloma, provincia Los Ríos, año 2012.” Los métodos de investigación utilizados en el trabajo fueron el Inductivo, Deductivo y Comparativo: los Tipos de Investigación fueron el Bibliográfico, Investigación de Campo, Transversal; así también se utilizaron las técnicas para la recolección de datos: La Observación, La Entrevista y La Encuesta. Finalmente como resultado de la investigación en el capítulo III se planteó una propuesta de mejoramiento que tiene como objetivos operativos los siguientes: 1. Reducir el total de la cartera en mora en un 25% en seis meses plazo. 2. Incrementar las captaciones en un 5% en un plazo de seis meses. 3. Adaptar nueva metodología con el fin de simplificar las operaciones de crédito. 4. Diseñar un plan de gestión para la recuperación de la cartera vencida. En esta propuesta se explica en detalle cada uno de los planes para la COAC Metrópolis Ltda.
