This work named Rural Tourist Project "Beautify your community" of the Comuna Quitugo of the Cantón Cotacachi, among its main objectives are the sustainable and integral development of the community and surrounding areas, through the creation of a Association named KAMBAK, which focuses on strengthening the capacities and knowledge of the community members and the members of the Association. Focuses on integrating youth and women with experience of elders to offer products and rural tourism services quality, beautifying the environment, preserving the rich landscape, enhancing culture and crafts, promoting the equality, quality, transparency and responsibility. Research data of this project have provided new knowledge of the current situation of the community in tourist activity, in addition, there are options and development opportunities in the area in question. Meanwhile, tourists who visit to the Canton are also looking for innovative spaces in the rural tourism service. This premise is based on the approach of a proposal for a rural tourism with the creation of the Association KAMBAK, which will develop products and tourist services massing all families interested in participating in the project. They will be offered from accommodation and rural coexistence to adventure tourism. Physical space and relief of the community provides benefits for all types of tourist activity.
El presente trabajo denominado Proyecto Turístico Rural “Embellece tu Comunidad” de la Comuna Quitugo del Cantón Cotacachi, entre sus objetivos principales está el desarrollo sostenible e integral de la comunidad y los sectores aledaños, mediante la creación de una Asociación denominada KAMBAK, que se enfoca en fortalecer las capacidades y conocimientos de los comuneros y los integrantes de la Asociación. Se enfoca en integrar a la juventud y las mujeres con la experiencia de los mayores para ofertar productos y servicios turísticos rurales de calidad, embelleciendo el entorno, conservando la riqueza paisajística, revalorizando la cultura y artesanía, promoviendo la igualdad, calidad, transparencia y responsabilidad. Los datos investigativos del presente proyecto han brindado nuevos conocimientos de la situación actual de la comunidad en la actividad turística, además, se observan las opciones y oportunidades de desarrollo en el área en mención. Por su parte, los turistas que visitan al Cantón también están buscando espacios innovadores en el servicio turístico rural. Esta premisa sirve de fundamento en el planteamiento de una propuesta de turismo rural con la creación de la Asociación KAMBAK, que se encargará de desarrollar los productos y servicios turísticos aglomerando a todas las familias interesadas en participar del proyecto. Se ofertarán desde alojamiento y convivencia rural hasta turismo de aventura. El espacio físico y relieve de la comunidad otorga beneficios para todo tipo de actividad turística.
