Description

This case study presents a descriptive analysis of the factors that affect the English language teaching-learning process in Ecuadorian public high schools, such as the case at Americano High School located in the province of Santa Elena, La Libertad canton where we are going to conduct a demonstration teaching in English using the topic of simple past tense time expressions, where some issues such as having a class with a large number of high school seniors may arise. As a result, research has been conducted on strategies and resources that can be adapted to classrooms to help control these issues that can negatively influence the teaching and learning process. Moreover, to be able to carry out a lesson plan for the previously stated group of students with resources, techniques, and methods focused on the skill to be worked on and thus be capable of instructing the class without any type of difficulty that may show up.
