This study focuses on determining the use of storytelling as a technique to improve listening skills in teenagers. The main objective of this research project is to describe the use of storytelling as a technique to improve listening skills. To carry out this research it was necessary to apply the qualitative method. Furthermore, the type of research is phenomenological, with the purpose to obtain the valuable and necessary information to carry out this research project. The type of phenomenological research helps the researcher to see what are the strengths and weaknesses of teens when acquiring a new language and focus on listening skills. Besides that, this study was able to determine that teenagers can improve their listening skills through the use of Storytelling. This is because, through the investigations carried out, it was found that Storytelling draws a lot of attention from the students because it makes them have a better concentration as well as imagine the details of the story to have a better understanding. Despite the fact that most of the participants stated that in their educational institution they have only had the story a few times to improve their listening comprehension, they agreed that they have done so only a few times. It has been very helpful and they would like to continue putting it into practice. mentioned above to improve
