Desarrollo de Software para análisis bidimensional de Transferencia de Calor en estado estable medi

Description: In this work, a finite element software for analysis of two–dimensional heat transfer steady state problems has been developed, for didactic and research purposes. The program was coded using Java and the free development toolkits NetBeans 5.0 and Java 3D. These tools were used to build a friendly and easy to handle graphic user's interface. This interface is used for drawing and meshing the geometry of the systems to be studied, imposing the boundary conditions, solving the resulting systems of equations, and presenting the results graphically and numerically. For meshing the problems to be analyzed, the program offers the option of using structured and unstructured meshes, using triangular or rectangular elements.
En este trabajo se ha desarrollado, con fines didácticos y de investigación, un programa computacional para analizar problemas bidimensionales de transferencia de calor en estado estable mediante el método de los elementos finitos. La codificación del programa se realizó utilizando el lenguaje Java y las herramientas gratuitas de desarrollo NetBeans 5.0 y Java 3D. Con estas herramientas se construyó una interfaz gráfica de usuario amigable y de fácil manejo. Esta interfaz permite dibujar la geometría de los sistemas a estudiar, discretizarlos, imponer las condiciones de frontera, resolver los sistemas de ecuaciones y desplegar los resultados gráfica y numéricamente.
