Description: In Mexico there is a high rate of blindness, caused by three main causes: birth evils; contracted diseases and accidents. According to data from the Directorate General of SSA Rehabilitation per thousand inhabitants, there is a blind, this means that in Mexico City there are about 12,000 blind people, of which 92% falls short of meeting their financial needs. Blindness is a disease that involves an issue that concerns not only the blind but also their family and people around him as not being understood and treated invalidates the person to such a degree that has to rely on others to survive .
En la República Mexicana existe un alto índice de ceguera, originada por tres causas principales: males congénitos; enfermedades contraídas y accidentes. Según datos proporcionados por la Dirección General de Rehabilitación S.S.A., por cada mil habitantes, existe un invidente, esto quiere decir que en la Ciudad de México hay aproximadamente 12,000 invidentes, de los cuales el 92% no alcanza a satisfacer sus necesidades económicas. La ceguera es un mal que implica una problemática que interesa no únicamente al ciego sino también a su familia y personas que lo rodean, ya que al no ser comprendido y tratado, invalida a la persona a tal grado que tiene que depender de otras para sobrevivir.
