The project starts with the structure, considering the constructive system of framework as a typology. Structural framing is considered to be flexible, prototypical, constructively efficient and replicable, from which arises the idea of an informal but sustainable program. The project´s location, in the neighborhood of La Mariscal, characteristic for having 189 patrimonial houses, was decided as a result of the combination of the premises above; applying the framework and flexibility in the site. The proposal is a regular steel framework that resolves the neighborhood’s infrastructure and use of ground as a program of hybrid use. The process of design is through a collage where layers of structure, gardens, circulation and program are superimposed generating a collective complex where communal space is the most important characteristic.
El proyecto parte desde la estructura, considerando al sistema de entramado como una tipología. Se caracteriza al entramado por ser flexible, prototípico, de eficiencia constructiva y replicable por lo que surge la idea de un programa informal pero sostenible. La implantación de la propuesta en el Barrio de La Mariscal nace de estas dos premisas, el entramado y la flexibilidad. Se propone un entramado metálico regular que resuelva el problema de infraestructura y uso de suelo del barrio, característico por tener 189 casas inventariadas como patrimoniales, como uso mixto. El diseño es través de un collage, donde las capas de estructura, jardín, circulación y programa se sobreponen generando un complejo de carácter colectivo y donde prima el espacio comunal.
