This paper is intended for titling the need for human relations policies to police the member through its daily service to the community make more personal contact with the public, to put aside the stereotype that comes in a long ago where the police member is frowned upon by the general public. For its closed form of interpreting things through this work my main qualification in that slogan “the police more than a friend” can be achieved through a manual pilot how to apply certain standards of human conduct and relationships essential to members of the community policing Portoviejo city, to bring them closer to citizens and thus make the police member in more than a synonym for protection in an entity that relates to the community and thus able to work for and with it. In this research study was conducted fieldwork where surveys were policemen, the same that resulted in the need to be always trained the police to have a closer contact with citizens and proactive. There is also the community police credibility at work who sacrificially unfolds day by day, but always expressing an alert to be more efficient in their work. It is important that the future police to keep alive that permanent contact with the community and that will serve to act and perform their jobs better. Training should be permanent members of community policing with a zeal for service and collaboration of all days can establish better for society safety.
El presente trabajo de titulación está dirigido a la necesidad de establecer políticas de Relaciones Humanas al miembro Policial para que a través de su servicio diario a la Comunidad, realice un contacto más personal con la ciudadanía, logrando dejar a un lado el estereotipo que viene se vienes utilizando desde hace tiempo y en el cual el miembro Policial es prejuiciado por la ciudadanía en general por su forma cerrada de interpretar las cosas.1 A través de este trabajo de titulación el objetivo principal es que el lema “El policía más que un amigo” se cumpla, utilizando un manual piloto que explica cómo aplicar ciertas normas de conducta humana y relaciones esenciales a los miembros de la Policía comunitaria de la ciudad de Portoviejo para acercarlos a la ciudadanía, de esta manera convertir al miembro Policial en un ente que se relacione con la Comunidad y poder de esta manera trabajar en pro y con la misma. En este estudio investigativo se realizó un trabajo de campo donde se aplicaron encuestas a policías, los mismos que dieron como resultado que es necesario estar siempre capacitado el policía, para tener un contacto más cercano y proactivo con el ciudadano. También existe credibilidad en la policía comunitaria en su trabajo que lo despliega sacrificadamente día a día, pero siempre hay una alerta que expresan que deben ser más eficientes en su labor. Es importante que el futuro policía mantenga vivo ese contacto con la comunidad permanente y eso le sirva para que actúe y desempeñe mejor su trabajo. Las capacitaciones deben ser permanentes a los miembros de la policía comunitaria, con un afán de servicio y colaboración de todos se puede establecer mejores días para la sociedad en seguridad ciudadana.
