Description: The aim of this work is to project a Hotel that replaces the impersonality and individualism of hotels, and turns it into a place with identity. For Kahn creating a human institution is based on the use of the street, the square and the school, since these are places where people meet and communicate, learn and develop and encounter its own aspirations. Therefore, these spaces find the most important needs of man and its reason of being. Thus Hotel Aeropuerto will have this spaces that will encourage human interaction, communication and meeting. It will not be a place just to pass through, it will have identity and it will generate relations among its users.
El objetivo de este trabajo de fin de carrera es proyectar un Hotel que logre sustituir lo impersonal e individualista de los hoteles, y lo convierta en un lugar con identidad. Para Kahn la creación de una institución humana se hace a partir del uso de la calle, la plaza y la escuela, ya que son lugares dónde la gente se reúne y comunica, aprende y se desarrolla y reúnen las aspiraciones de cada uno. Éstos espacios, por lo tanto, responden a las necesidades más importantes del hombre, su razón de ser. Consecuentemente, se creará un hotel que cuente con éstos espacios que fomenten las interacciones humanas, la comunicación y la reunión. Éste no será un lugar de pasada sino que tendrá identidad y permitirá relaciones entre sus usuarios.
