These thesis proposes the regeneration through the interior design, of the Centro Metropolitano Iñaquito (CDMI), located in the streets Atahualpa E 2-80 between Nuñez de Vela and Iñaquito, opposite the “La Carolina “ park, these building over the years has been disregarded and in the present is underutilized. The purpose is aimed at redesigning spaces, to give greater scope to the CDMI by creating a “Recreational, Cultural and Sports Youth Center” which will be a space for, group socialization in healthy and safe environments for the teenagers in Quito. Through the interior design concept, the Youth Center search to potentiate the abilities and the artistic skills of adolescents, promotes their own space with which they feel identified and represented. This youth center will have three floor plants in which different areas will be developed such as: cafeteria, library, gym, music class, a cinema and various workshops of artistic and cultural interest. By this way seeking, to collaborate with the decrease of harmful situations for the health of adolescents and promoting activities for emotional development of teens through the regeneration of internal spaces of the Cento Deportivo Metorpolitano Iñaquito.
Esta tesis propone la regeneración por medio del diseño interior, del Centro Deportivo Metropolitano Iñaquito (CDMI),ubicado en las calles Atahualpa E2-80 entre Núñez de Vela e Iñaquito, frente al parque La Carolina, edificación que al pasar de los años ha sido descuidada y en el presente es sub utilizada, y al ser este un lugar estratégicamente bien ubicado, mi propuesta está dirigida en rediseñar los espacios, para darle un alcance mayor al CDMI, creando un ”Centro de Recreativo, Cultural y Deportivo para Adolecentes” el cual será un espacio para la socialización grupal en ambientes saludables y seguros, dirigido para jóvenes de la ciudad de Quito. A través del concepto de diseño interior, potencializar las capacidades y destrezas artísticas de los adolescentes promoviendo un espacio propio con el cual se sientan identificados y representados. Este centro juvenil contara con tres plantas en las cuales se desarrollan diferentes áreas como: cafetería, biblioteca, gimnasio, sala de música, cine y diferentes talleres de interés artístico y cultural. Buscando de esta manera colaborar con la disminución de actividades perjudiciales para la salud y promoviendo el desarrollo emocional, de los adolescentes mediante la regeneración integral de los espacios internos del Centro Deportivo Metropolitano Iñaquito.
