Nowadays, we can see that the way we built has been improved day by day, but at the same time, we have forgotten the basics of building and how it relates to the natural habitat that welcomed us a long time ago. Today we realize the slow destruction of our Amazon because of oil extraction, which is actually a very important economic resource in Ecuador. Divided by blocks, communities expect to be exploited someday, without truly knowing that this brings large negative effects against the biodiversity and their lives. One of these communities is called Piwiri, located in the “Block 10” (AGIP). For this reason we propose the creation of the Piwiri’s Monitoring and Environmental Protection Station, to be developed based on endemic building systems from the indigenous communities of the Amazon region, that will focus on serving the needs of the leading community area, Piwiri, such as monitor, protect, investigate the biodiversity (flora, fauna and environment of the area) and educate/train people about what is happening inside and outside their community.
En la actualidad, podemos observar que la manera de construir ha ido evolucionando pero al mismo tiempo nos hemos olvidado de lo básico de construir y como este se relaciona con el hábitat natural que nos acogió hace mucho tiempo atrás. Hoy en día podemos apreciar la destrucción lenta de nuestra amazonia por la extracción de crudo ya que es un recurso económico muy importante en el Ecuador, dividido por bloques esperan las comunidades algún día ser explotadas sin saber que esto trae grandes efectos negativos en contra de la biodiversidad y sus propias vidas, una de esta comunidades se llama Piwiri que se encuentra en el bloque 10 (AGIP). Por esta razón se propone la creación de una Estación de Monitoreo y Protección Ambiental Piwiri basado en los sistemas constructivos endémicos de las comunidades indígenas de la amazonia que se enfocará en cubrir las principales necesidades del territorio de la comunidad de Piwiri tales como Monitorear, proteger, investigar la biodiversidad (flora, fauna, medio ambiente de la zona) y Educar/capacitar de lo que esta ocurriendo dentro y fuera de la comunidad.
