In the world one third of the produced food for human consumption is wasted or lost each year. Food banks around the world tackle this problem by redistributing food that will be wasted to families that live in extreme poverty. The Food Bank of Quito retrieved and redistributed almost 400 tons of food in 2019. A new communication plan was developed to increase the bank´s activities with the benefactors, beneficiaries, volunteers and public in general, resulting in an increase of environmental and social impact in the city of Quito...
