La presente investigación es de gran importancia ya que en la actualidad las empresas familiares son aquellas que aportan económicamente al desarrollo del sector textil y manufacturero de la ciudad de Pelileo, identificado el problema se busca que las empresas familiares se adapten a los cambios generacionales con una adecuada gestión donde el objetivo principal es determinar cómo incide el impacto generacional en la gestión en la continuidad que permita profesionalizar a la empresa familiar dejando atrás el manejo empírico del sector textil y manufacturero del cantón Pelileo., la cual tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, se utilizó bibliografía actualizada, trabajos de grado, artículos científicos, etc., de allí nace un cuestionario de 14 preguntas bien estructuradas, posteriormente a través de una encuesta se recogió la información a los 54 dueños de las empresas familiares de la ciudad de Pelileo, y se realizó un análisis e interpretación de las respuestas el cual indica resultados que indican que las empresas del sector necesitan planes que ayuden a la gestión del cambio generacional por lo tanto la propuesta de mejora es diseñar un plan de sucesión para la empresa Mobatex del cantón Pelileo.
The present investigation is of great importance since at present the family businesses are those that contribute economically to the development of the textile and manufacturing sector of the city of Pelileo, identified the problem seeks that the family businesses adapt to the generational changes with a adequate management where the main objective is to determine how the generational impact on continuity management affects the professionalization of the family business leaving behind the empirical management of the textile and manufacturing sector of the Pelileo canton, which had a qualitative approach, was used updated bibliography, degree works, scientific articles, etc., from there was born a questionnaire of 14 well-structured questions, later through a survey the information was collected from the 54 owners of family businesses in the city of Pelileo, and carried out an analysis and interpretation of the answers which indicated to results that indicate that the companies of the sector need plans that help the management of the generational change therefore the proposal of improvement is to design a succession plan for the company Mobatex of the Pelileo canton.
