El presente Proyecto de Investigación tiene como principal objetivo el análisis de la relación existente entre el manejo de residuos sólidos y la rentabilidad en Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Cámara de Comercio de Ambato Con la finalidad de sustentar esta investigación, se consideran teorías e investigaciones relacionadas al tema de estudio. Este estudio encaja en una modalidad investigativa bibliográfica y de campo, cuyas herramientas utilizadas fueron cuestionario y encuesta. Adicionalmente, se implementaron técnicas de observación, las que permitieron recolectar datos necesarios para respaldar la hipótesis planteada en la investigación. Paralelamente, se ejecutaron análisis financieros horizontales y verticales, aplicando índices financieros, mediante los cuales se obtuvieron resultados significativos en relación al estado financiero actual de la empresa, al igual que el impacto que conlleva el mal manejo de residuos de papel en su rentabilidad. Para finalizar el estudio, se establecen conclusiones y recomendaciones, con las cuales se pretende orientar a los departamentos financieros y operativos de la empresa, hacia un adecuado manejo de los residuos sólidos de papel.
This research project aims to analyze of the relationship between solid waste management and profitability in the Credit Union Ambato Chamber of Commerce. In order to support the research, are considered theories and research related to the topic of study. This study also fits into a bibliographic and field research mode; interview and survey were used as tools. In addition, it was important to implement observation techniques; they allowed collecting important and necessary data to clarify certain questions of the studied variables from the project. Parallel, horizontal and vertical financial analysis were carried out, using financial indices, through which significant results were obtained about the current financial status of the company, as well as the impact that involves the poor management of waste paper role in profitability. Conclusions and recommendations are set for completion of the study, with which it’s intended to guide the Financial and Operational departments of the company, to a proper waste paper management.
