El presente proyecto se desarrolló en la ciudad de Ambato en la empresa “COVIPLAST”, el interés de la empresa por la construcción de esta matriz radica en la necesidad de producir un nuevo producto. Para el diseño de la matriz se debe considerar diferentes parámetros tales como: material a inyectar, la máquina inyectora a utilizar, las características del producto a elaborar, los materiales a usar en la construcción de la matriz. El diseño inicia con el cálculo de número de cavidades, luego con la conFiguración de la matriz, cálculo de la presión de inyección y fuerza de cierre, después se seleccionó el porta molde. El dimensionamiento y comprobación de resistencia de las placas se lo realizo por mediante análisis por elementos finitos. La construcción y ensamble de la matriz se lo realizó en el taller donde se fabricó utilizando los recursos económicos, materiales y humanos del mismo. El montaje de la matriz se lo realizó en la empresa para garantizar su correcto funcionamiento mediante pruebas de inyección.
This project was developed in the city of Ambato in the company "COVIPLAST", the interest of the company for the construction of this matrix lies in the need to produce a new product. For the design of the matrix should be considered different parameters such as: material to be injected, the injection machine to be used, the characteristics of the product to be developed, the materials to be used in the construction of the Matrix. The design starts with the calculation of number of cavities, then with the conFiguration of the matrix, calculation of the injection pressure and closing force, then the mould holder was selected. The sizing and resistance test of the plates is done by means of finite element analysis. The construction and assembly of the Matrix was carried out in the workshop where it was manufactured using the economic, material and human resources of the same. The Assembly of the Matrix was carried out in the company to ensure its correct operation by means of injection tests.
