El presente estudio acerca de la satisfacción sexual y el autoestima se realizó específicamente en mujeres PPL del “Centro de privación de la libertad”en la ciudad Ambato, la muestra de estudio estuvo constituida por 80 PPL a quienes se les evaluó mediante la escala de satisfacción sexual(NSSS), que evalúa las dimensiones de Sensaciones sexuales, conciencia sexual, intercambio sexual, apego emocional y la escala de Rosemberg el cual evalúa los niveles de autoestima, con el objetivo de demostrar si la satisfacción sexual influye en la autoestima de los sujetos evaluados. Los beneficiaros de la presente investigación fueron las mujeres PPL a quienes se les brindo una atención adecuada a sus necesidades, dentro del presente estudio se encontrará datos que contribuirán a la realización de próximos proyectos. Cabe destacar que la satisfacción sexual es una forma esencial de expresión de la vida en pareja. De hecho, frecuentemente se considera como un indicador de la marcha global de la relación de convivencia entre dos personas y la autoestima, es un conjunto de percepciones, pensamientos, evaluaciones, sentimientos y tendencias de comportamiento dirigidas hacia nosotros mismos, que posee un individuo para desarrollarse en su vida. Los resultados evidenciaron que a mayor satisfacción sexual presentan baja autoestima.
The present study on sexual satisfaction and self-esteem was specifically performed in women PPLs of the "Center for the Deprivation of Liberty" in the city of Ambato, the study sample consisted of 80 PPLs who were evaluated using the satisfaction scale (NSSS), which evaluates the dimensions of sexual sensations, sexual awareness, sexual intercourse, emotional attachment and the Rosemberg scale, which assesses self-esteem levels, with the objective if sexual satisfaction influences person’s self-esteem Evaluated. The results showed that the higher the sexual satisfaction, better the higher level of self-esteem, while the people with less sexual satisfaction presented less self-esteem.
