De todos son conocidas las opciones que GeoGebra ofrece para representar cualquier funci?n o para obtener la representaci?n de un lugar geom?trico a trav?s de la herramienta del mismo nombre, cuando el lugar est? determinado por un punto. Cuando el lugar no est? determinado por un punto hay que recurrir a las opciones que permiten la animaci?n y el trazo para simular el lugar generado a trav?s de envolventes, lo que ofrece un amplio abanico de posibilidades para generar nuevas curvas a trav?s del movimiento. GeoGebra tambi?n ofrece la posibilidad de obtener la ecuaci?n de un lugar generado con la herramienta Lugar geom?trico e incluso el construido a trav?s de envolventes. Como estas opciones no siempre devuelven la ecuaci?n hay que buscar nuevos m?todos como puede ser recurrir a las posibilidades que ofrece la Vista CAS para determinar dichas ecuaciones.
