El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el financiamiento de las procesadoras de camarón del sector acuícola en la provincia del Guayas en los años 2014-2019. Por ello el desarrollo del presente estudio se justifica en la necesidad de indagar acerca del acceso a créditos de financiamiento que ha mantenido el sector camaronero en el periodo mencionado para la mejora y tecnificación de su producción y así obtener un producto competitivo frente a otros países. La metodología de la investigación es de tipo descriptiva y analítica ya que nos permitirá identificar las diferentes fuentes de financiamiento a las que el sector camaronero puede acceder. El enfoque utilizado es mixto, cualitativo y cuantitativo, ya que se empleó como instrumento de investigación entrevistas dirigidas a empresarios y gerentes de empresas empacadoras y exportadoras de camarón con la finalidad de conocer cuáles fueron sus opciones de fuentes de financiamiento, su experiencia, las limitaciones y otros aspectos que tuvieron con cada de una de ellas durante los años 2014 al 2019. Por último, se dio como resultado que las principales fuentes de financiamiento utilizados en ese periodo de tiempo son las siguientes: Capital social, Utilidades Retenidas, Obligaciones Bancarias, Proveedores y Obligaciones con el Mercado de Valores. Con la finalidad de ayudar a fomentar el crecimiento del sector.
The present research work aims to analyze the financing of shrimp processors in the aquaculture sector in the province of Guayas in the years 2014-2019. For this reason, the development of this study is justified by the need to inquire about access to financing credits that the shrimp sector has maintained in the aforementioned period for the improvement and modernization of its production and thus obtain a competitive product compared to other countries. The research methodology is descriptive and analytical and we seek to identify the different sources of financing that the shrimp sector can access. The approach used is mixed, qualitative and quantitative, since interviews directed to entrepreneurs and managers of shrimp packing and exporting companies were used as a research instrument in order to know the results were their options of financing sources, their experience, the limitations and other aspects that they had with each of them during the years 2014 to 2019. Finally, it was found that the main sources of financing used in that period of time are the following: Capital Stock, Retained Earnings, Bank Obligations, Suppliers and Obligations with the Stock Market. In order to help promote the growth of the sector.
