This final paper provides suggestions regarding how to implement control to minimize workplace hazards that are present in the production area, for instance: using the risk assessment methods set forth by the Spanish National Institute of Safety and Hygiene in the Work Place in the area of chained binding, cursor and control and packaging; adopting methods and techniques contained therein in order to provide better working conditions, particularly the safety and health of workers. This final project has been formulated as follows: Chapter 1 describes the company, background, objectives and the formulation of the problem, the scope, the reason for the project, taking into consideration the resources available. Chapter 2. This chapter provides basic definitions of words and acronyms, the use of the methodology for risk assessment provided by INSHT, and the RULA and Check List OCRA methods that contribute to improving the health and safety of workers. Chapter 3. This chapter includes implementation using the risk matrix for identification and the methods for risk assessment; evaluating each job considered to be more at risk for worker’s injuries in order to adopt preventive actions. Chapter 4. This chapter includes suggestions to senior officers for implementation in the production area such as monitoring and controlling the areas and jobs where there is greater risk in order to minimize it and provide safety and health to the workers. Chapter 5. This final chapter includes the conclusions that resulted from this research and includes recommendations to be given consideration for their implementation throughout the production area.
El presente trabajo de titulación, tiene como propósito de sugerir un control para minimizar los riesgos laborales que están presentes en el área de producción, tales como son: en el área de encadenado, unidora, cursor y revisión y empaquetado mediante la aplicación de la matriz de la Evaluación de Riesgos del Instituto Nacional de Seguridad e Higiene en el Trabajo de España, adoptando métodos y técnicas que se muestran en el mismo, con el propósito de brindar un mejor ambiente de trabajo en cuanto su seguridad y salud de los trabajadores. El presente trabajo se encuentra constituido de la siguiente manera: Capítulo 1.- Describe a la empresa, los antecedentes los objetivos, la formulación del problema, el alcance la justificación del proyecto, teniendo en consideración los recursos que se tenga disponible. Capítulo 2.- Este capítulo muestra definiciones básicas de palabras y siglas, el uso la metodología de la Evaluación de riesgos del INSHT, así como los métodos: RULA y Check List OCRA contribuyendo a mejorar la seguridad y salud de los trabajadores. Capítulo 3.- Este capítulo muestra el desarrollo mediante la matriz de riesgos para la identificación y métodos para la Evaluación de Riesgos, evaluando cada puesto de trabajo que se considera con mayor exposición a ocurrir lesiones en los trabajadores con el fin de realizar acciones preventivas.
