This research project refers to the analysis of financial statements and their impact on administrative and financial management whose main problem occurs because the expenses are higher than the revenues collected by the services, through this diagnosis is known the behavior of the financial statements, which shows the excessive overdue portfolio during the investigated periods, taking as sample the 2016 period a percentage of 70% produced by inefficient collection management which leads to a business instability, the objective of this investigation was perform the analysis of the financial statements for administrative financial management in the municipal potable water and sewerage company of Guaranda. In order to carry out the research, the survey technique was applied to those directly related, such as the financial department, and those responsible for the administrative management of the company. A methodological manual is proposed that provides structured calculation tools through formulas, methods and financial indicators, thus obtaining results automatically, which allows the analysis to be developed in an efficient and truthful manner to the financial statements, which accurately reflects the economic and financial situation of the company in a certain period.
El presente proyecto de investigación se refiere al análisis de los estados financieros y su incidencia en la gestión administrativa y financiera cuyo problema principal se produce debido a que los gastos son superiores a los ingresos recaudados por los servicios, a través de este diagnóstico se conoce el comportamiento de los estados financieros, misma que muestra la excesiva cartera vencida durante los periodos investigados, tomando como muestra el periodo 2016 un porcentaje del 70% producido por la ineficiente gestión de cobranza lo cual conlleva a una inestabilidad empresarial, el objetivo de esta investigación fue realizar el análisis de los estados financieros para la gestión administrativa financiera en la empresa municipal de agua potable y alcantarillado de Guaranda. Para llevar a cabo la investigación se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta dirigida a quienes están directamente relacionados como es el departamento financiero, y aquellos encargados de la gestión administrativa de la empresa. Se propone un manual metodológico que brinda herramientas de cálculo estructurado a través de fórmulas, métodos e indicadores financieros, obteniendo así resultados de manera automática, que permite desarrollar el análisis de forma eficiente y veraz a los estados financieros, la misma que refleja con precisión la situación económica y financiera de la empresa en un determinado periodo.
