The present titling project: ROTATION OF NURSING INSTITUTIONS AND DIRECT CARE FOR PATIENTS IN THE SERVICES OF THE ALFREDO NOBOA MONTEGRO GUARANDA JULY - DECEMBER 2018 HOSPITAL, was developed in consideration of the fact that nursing care is based on humanistic scientific principles, ethical and religious always ensuring the quality of care and ensuring the satisfaction of the needs of patients. The prompt recovery of the patient's health is not only the responsibility of the nursing professional, but also of the inmate since they fulfill the role of direct care by fulfilling the competent functions to the nursing inmates during the rotations for all the services hospitable. It was raised as a general objective. To determine, "how the rotations of nursing inmates influences the direct care of patients in the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital during the period July - December 2018, for which a research, observational, field and transversal design methodology was applied. The research has as a result two variables: independent variable, ROTATION OF NURSERY INTERNS and dependent variable, DIRECT CARE TO PATIENTS. For which data collection techniques were used, the survey for the independent variable and the observation guide for the dependent variable. It was applied to all rotating nursing interns who are performing the pre-professional practices corresponding to hospital health, which allowed obtaining necessary information to then tabulate, analyze and interpret it using the Excel statistical information program. The results obtained helped us to reach the following conclusions, there are 48 nursing interns distributed by all the services of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro hospital and 100% considers that the time allocated for each rotation that is usually one month in the health institution under study, it is not enough to elaborate and apply the nursing care process in an individualized way, nor to acquire skills and abilities necessary to respond to the needs of each service. This is also affected by the short time of induction to the nursing intern e new income in services, time is also not enough to fulfill all the activities and functions of the inmates, in that time the nursing intern only adapts to the physical structure of the service, to the personnel that works and to the basic procedures of the service, so that the continuous rotations have a negative effect on the care since decrease the quality. El presente proyecto de titulación: ROTACION DE LOS INTERNOS DE ENFERMERIA Y EL CUIDADO DIRECTO A LOS PACIENTES EN LOS SERVICIOS DEL HOSPITAL ALFREDO NOBOA MONTEGRO GUARANDA JULIO - DICIEMBRE 2018, se desarrolló en consideración de que los cuidados de enfermería están basados en principios científicos humanísticos, éticos y religiosos asegurando siempre la calidad de atención y garantizando la satisfacción de las necesidades de los pacientes. La pronta recuperación de la salud del paciente no solo es responsabilidad del profesional de enfermería, sino también del interno ya que ellos cumplen con el rol de cuidado directo mediante el cumplimiento de las funciones competentes a los internos de enfermería durante las rotaciones por todos los servicios hospitalarios. Se planteó como objetivo general. Determinar, “la influencia de las rotaciones de los internos de enfermerías en el cuidado directo de los pacientes en los servicios del Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro durante el periodo Julio – Diciembre 2018, para ello se aplicó una metodología investigativa, observacional, de campo y diseño transversal. La investigación tiene como resultado dos variables: variable independiente, ROTACION DE LOS INTERNOS DE ENFERMERIA y variable dependiente, CUIDADO DIRECTO A LOS PACIENTES. Para los cuales se utilizaron técnicas de recolección de datos, la encuesta para la variable independiente y la guía de observación para la variable dependiente. Se aplicó a todos los internos rotativos de enfermería que se encuentran realizando las practicas pre profesionales correspondientes a salud hospitalaria, lo cual permitió obtener información necesaria para luego tabularla, analizarla e interpretarla utilizando el programa informativo estadístico Excel. Los resultados obtenidos nos ayudaron a llegar a las siguientes conclusiones, hay 48 internos de enfermería distribuidos por todos los servicios del hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro y el 100% considera que el tiempo asignado para cada rotación que generalmente es de un mes en la institución de salud en estudio, no es suficiente para elaborar y aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería de manera individualizada, ni para adquirir habilidades y destrezas necesarias para responder a las necesidades de cada servicio esto se ve afectado también por el corto tiempo de inducción al interno de enfermería e nuevo ingreso en los servicios, el tiempo también no es suficiente para cumplir con todas las actividades y funciones de los internos, en ese tiempo el interno de enfermería solo se adapta a la estructura física del servicio, al personal que labora y a los procedimientos básicos del servicio, por lo que las continuas rotaciones influye negativamente en el cuidado ya que disminuye la calidad.
